Pictures with LMA uploads? |
Why did the LMA decide to change the dimensions of the pic that can be embedded on a show's page? You used to be able to upload a pic that was a couple of inches up and down, but now a pic like that gets compressed into a much smaller size. Here's an example:
http://www.archive.org/details/rre2009-04-06I like to upload pics with my uploads and most of them fit into the current dimensions, but I'd like to be able to use more up and down space since it isn't going to be used anyway.
Also, my latest upload has thumbnails derived from the pics that I included. What's up with those? Are you guys getting ready to overhaul the look of things around here? The beta uploader seems like you're heading in that direction, and the thumbnails are another clue.

Re: Pictures with LMA uploads? |
I have noticed that within the past few months, or so, the images on the top left of live music archive pages are now constrained to 160 x 110 pixels. This doesn't usually look right for the photos I post on shows I upload either.
I wish the height tag for that image on the page could be deleted, so the width would still work in the left column but it would leave the image proportional.
Here's an example of one of mine, and the code that makes it look that way:
